McLean, Ken

March 25, 1953 to December 26, 2009

Ken McLean passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday December 26, 2009. He resided in Monkton and was born 56 years ago in Brussels, a son of the late Ian and Blanche (Oppenhauser) McLean. Ken was a member of Monkton United Church and the Monkton Lion’s Club. He enjoyed playing on the Monkton Wildcats hockey team and in the Monkton fastball league.
Dear brother of Bob and Brenda McLean of Monkton and Patricia and Ed Martin of Prince Edward Island. Special uncle of Chris and Trisha McLean and their son Braedon, Kevin and Tammy McLean and their daughter Hailey, Kyle McLean and friend Megan Runhart, Corey McLean and friend Katie Gascho and step-uncle of Tracy and Cam Richardson. Fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In keeping with Ken’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood on Thursday December 31, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Alex McGilvery officiating. Spring interment in North Logan Cemetery, Monkton.
